I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Master of Science in Geophysics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Soon after that, I started working as a Research Assistant in the Geomatics and Geoinformatics (GMGI) Solutions Limited. There I developed my skills on digital mapping using ArcGIS in full resolution from primary data collection, processing to reporting. I developed my skillset in various data acquisition programs: GNSS RTK, Total Station, Handheld GPS, UAV/ Drone, Eco Sounder, Ground Penetrating Radar etc. I used/developed these skills while working in major projects like Mass Dog Vaccination Program and Dengue Risk Zoning. I started learning coding with a thought that I can use it anywhere including GIS. Besides learning from open sources, I got enrolled in a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) degree program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Bangladesh Korea Institute of Information and Communication Technology (BKIICT).

Afterwards I continued my career as a geologist in the Center for Geoservices & Research (CGR). At the same time, I pursued my programming career as a part time freelancer where I used to develop websites using various platform such as WordPress for clients from overseas. I am always open to new opportunities where I can learn something new as well as I can exercise my previous skills.
